Introduction.

How are we different from animals ? Are we better than animals or worse than them ? let's have a look-

1. Animals wake up in the morning earlier than us. While we wake up grumbling by solid kick of complusion on our butt. Animals wake up much before the break of dawn called 'Brahma Muhurat' at 4 A.M. Animals experience the tranquil and most fresh part of the day, day after day.

2. Animals leave their nest in search of food, just as we leave our homes in serch of food. Animals gather their food in a more honest, more straight forward, and more transparent manner than us. Whereas, to gather food, we as humans deceive, manipulate, cheat, lie, plunder, loot, steal, exploit, and perform horrendous acts.

3. Animals lead a celibate (Brahmcharya) life for most part of the year and their life. Thst means that for most of the year & life they do not have sex on their mind. Where as, human have 24hour per day x7 days per week x365 days per year sex on their mind.

4. Ants with brain size less than pin point and without any formal education & learning about the so called inventions apply all principles and laws of thermodynamics, and HVAC to build their ant hill. Where as Humans, with 3 pound brain take 25 years to learn about the same in engineering and still falter. Siberian cranes and other migratory birds with brain size of pea know every principle of flying across continents without any navigation instruments ( such as GPS, SAT NAV, etc) yet do not get lost, and reach their destinations precisely, which are thousands of miles away.  Whereas Humans with 3 lb brain, despite after gaining adulthood age and despite formal learning at flying school with all navigation gadgets still get lost.  A tortoise with no health plan and modern day medicine facilities is able to live more than 150 years to 450 years. Humans as fantastic medical knowledge is finding life span shorter than ever. Insects, birds, animals come to know of approaching inclement weather much before, whereas humans with fantastic meteorology knowledge are caught merely speculating. The list is endless.

There is only one difference between human beings and animals, that makes us special creation. Animals are bound by their instincts. Humans are not. Nature has endowed human beings with ' Fredom of Free Will '. 

The purpose of life is not to become wealth chaser, or sex slave, or popularity seeker, or intoxication sinker, or to be ego-dome builder etc,  as these do not provide permanent and ever-growing ever-new joy. Every second somebody is dropping dead and we can all see for sure that degree of mess left behind is directly proportional to the person's entrapment to lust, Anger, Greed, Possessiveness, and ego.

The sole purpose of life is to liberate the Soul from the bodage cyclicity of dualities of life such as life and death, pleasures & sorrows, health & sickness, and so on, thus attaining “Moksha” or attaining ”Mukti”or achieving ”Nirvana” or seeking ”Salvation” of soul, and realising in the process, immense ever-growing ever-new Joy, immense ever growing peace, immense ever growing contentedness, immense ever growing feeling of abundance, immense ever growing kindness, immense ever growing love for all, immense ever growing unification and oneness with the “Brahman”(Cosmos), immense ever growing control over to be or not to be, to be 'ONE' with God, etc and finally unify with the God, permanently. 

Lo behold! This can be achieved while being where ever you are, whatever you are. While performing the various role plays(junior, senior, colleague, boss, supplier, vendor, customer, team memeber, team leader, managing director, worker, manager, child, parent, husband, wife, brother, sister, neighbour, aquaintance, partner, corporate citizen, etc) the life offers us to perform, we can perform these functions at un-imaginable peak performances while persuing Liberation of soul.
There are three ways to achieve this goal of life. 

One of the way of unification is through Bhakti Yog(here you are in absolute selfless love with god all the time, example- Mira Bhai, and other Sufi Saints (Bauls). Here no activity else than total immersion in love of god is possible. This long drawn approach is a arrived due to Karmic aspirations stoked through numerous incarnations. One short-coming in this path of seeking unification with God is that here the person is not able to become the instrument of God in performance of Cosmic oblations. Lord Shri Krishna in divine dialogue with Arjuna (the communion between the Spirit and the Soul) said that “I am the Yajna (the cauldron of cosmic oblation”), that means upon seeking oneness with the supreme father, the person should act his instrument and participate in the Yajna. If every body becomes baul then the activities of world would come to grinding halt.Therefore this route is not based on all-inclusive concept of cosmic wisdom. 

The second route to unification is through “Gyan/Jyan Yog' ( here you study & dwell upon Holy Scriptures, holy books, Vedas and all the knowledge contained in the universe which is infinite). This is very circuitous route as it would take many life times to assimilate the profound knowledge and raise your consciousness to unify with God. This approach has another inbuilt trap as it may only lead to scholarly pursuits (and may not lead to spiritual up-lifting) which is only good for earning university P.hds, participate in glorious religious debates, discussions in world summits, or at cocktail dinners for one up-manship. Mere parroting of Holy scriptures along with their literal translation is less beneficial than the learning of multiplication- tables. Here you wind up being a parrot for playing a shloka/hymn for every occasion to impress yourself and others.This trap is called the ego trap. Once you follow this route, you become victim of Ego enslaved karmas and fall to lower pedestals of karmic wheel. Another flaw in this path is that only literate persons can tread on it, which leaves a large section of humanity un-addressed. Therefore, this route is not recommended either. 

Third and the Best route for achieiving “Moksha” or ”Mukti”or ”Nirvana” or ”Salvation” is through 'Karam Yog'. However, this is the most misunderstood and mis-interpreted route, due to nil wisdom, but great text knowledge attained due to literal translation of scriptures. Please be cautioned for your own good, that the Holy Scriptures do not reveal their true meaning by their literal translation. The holy scriptures are best understood through the activation of the third eye. By activation of third eye, the intuitive wisdom starts unfolding/decoding the coded language of the Holy Scriptures. Most Great saints were not worldly literate or PhD holders , but possessed perfect cosmic wisdom.

As per this route, all the activities in the world/universe are of two types- one being, performance of roles and responsibilities in a way that pleases our supreme father and always remain accountable to Him regarding your performance evaluation. INVOLVE HIM,& INCLUDE HIM while doing all the worldly roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities. This is called KARYAM. Second activitiy to be performed under this approach, is 'Karam', which means meditation or 'Smaadhi'. Both, 'Karam' and 'Karyam' stoke each other synergistically. This is the shortest route to unify with God and achieve Mukti or Moksha or Salvation or Nirvana. You do well on this path by performing your role functions to please HIM, as an employee, employer, mother, father, husband, son, daughter, brother, sister, player, coach, student, teacher, seller, buyer etc while including him in your life every moment, and, meditate regularly, then be assured you are turning to be “Ahm Brahmasmi( Supreme Father and me are the same). Here,every action of the life-passage becomes a cosmic oblation.

What is your purpose of life? Is it to eat, sleep, work mechanically, multiply and die? How is it different from animals? Are you under influence of “Niagara syndrome”. Pause, think and act as the time is running out. It is one life we have got. It is our only chance.
